ももたろう

昔々、おじいさんとおばあさんが一緒に暮らしていました。ある日、おばあさんが川で洗濯をしていると、大きな桃が流れてきました。おじいさんとおばあさんがその桃を開くと、中から元気な男の子が現れました。その子を桃太郎と名付けて、2人は大切に育てました。

やがて大きくなった桃太郎は、村を苦しめる鬼を退治する決意をしました。途中で犬、猿、キジと出会い、おにぎりを分け与えました。一緒に鬼が住む島に向かい、鬼たちに立ち向かいました。勇敢な桃太郎たち４人は鬼たちを退治し、村に平和を取り戻しました。おじいさんとおばあさんは桃太郎の勇敢さを誇りに思いました。

Once upon a time, an old man and an old woman lived together. One day, while the old woman was doing laundry in the river, a big peach came floating by. The old man and old woman opened the peach, and a lively boy appeared from inside. They named the boy Momotaro and raised him with loving care.

As Momotaro grew older, he decided to defeat the demons causing trouble in the village. Along the way, he met a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant, and shared his rice balls with them. Together, they headed to the island where the demons lived and confronted them. The brave Momotaro and his three companions defeated the demons and restored peace to the village. The old man and old woman were proud of Momotaro's courage.
